There are some clear pluses and minuses for this location. Starting with the minuses, the exterior of the building is remarkably dirty. In fact, its just awful seeing small bits of trash and chewed gum on the side of the building and areas that have outdoor seating. The outside really needs to be power washed. Plus, depending on where you are coming in from College Dr, the parking is a bit sketchy. I wound up parking in a business center lot directly behind the store, as well as two other patrons. Now, with that said, the plus side of this location is that the interior is roomy. In fact, quite possibly the largest interior that I've ever seen a Starbucks located in. That is a huge deal, considering the close proximity this location is to LSU's campus. The staff seems to be made up of mostly current students, which was expected. One underclassman was telling me that he had 4 exams this week and had the perfect job to stay hydrated with caffeine! Lol. This location is also quite ideal for LSU students to hang out in. Other than that, this Starbucks location is among the closest to the places around Essen Park Blvd and other hotel venues. If traveling from out of town, I would certainly recommend this place. Its okay.

Slow service. Bathroom was nasty! Not just a one time thing. There is grime all around, broken door lock to stall and toilet was not clean. Makes me wonder if the service kitchen gets cleaned... Got caramel macchiatos to-go. Yuck! Made with burned coffee and no caramel. I need my $16 back! Worst Starbucks experience ever.

So let me just start of by saying "YAY STARBUCKS" like any other generic white girl! ha ha But seriously this is some awesome coffee and I never get something I do not like and I like to switch it up! This location is busy, busy, busy and it took quite a while to get my coffee in the drive-thru. I was fourth in line and the line grew to the street but I didn't move from in front of the speaker for about five minutes and that can be annoying. But good thing my coffee was hot and delicious!

Vacationing, if you could call it that, in Baton Rouge to visit family. Need, need my coffee fix. Alas, in LSU territory I found a taste of civilization. First time ordered the dirty chai latte, second time a pumpkin latte. Both were fine. It was the WiFi that filled my heart with goodness, the friendly people studying and typing on their laptops, and the grab n go options that brought my happiness. So, so glad this coffee shop is here

Drive through Review only.. So if you have read my reviews, you will know 1. I DO NOT like/drink Coffee if I can help it 2. I LOVE Chocolate milk! It is this love for chocolate milk that makes me get out of bed 15 minutes earlier than usual, just so I can go grab some chocolate milk from Starbucks.. and they may do EVERYTHING wrong, but when they get my choco milk right, I LOVE IT!! :) But then.. i digress from my review of this particular place... They get my milk right, they smile when they serve me, they charge me the same amount every time I go, they are quick with my milk and service in general, the line moves quickly enough.. save for the random PMS-ing women, stuck to their phones who don't realize the car ahead of them is gone 2000 feet ahead and there are people waiting to get their hands on he awesome choc milk..sigh! anyways.. I cant complain.. I drive through here 3 times a week! :)

Overall, it is much like any other Starbucks you will ever encounter. If I am in a very rare mood for coffee, and I am driving past, I will stop in. I tend to drop by for my roommate more than myself. The people inside are always friendly, and I guess that is the only thing you can really judge a Starbucks by. I can't think of a time they have messed up an order, though they have left off the hot drink sleeve a couple of times. While I have the ability to handle hot drinks, it is much nicer to have it already in place without having to ask.

nice interior. Can be tight to get car in and out of in the morning. Not much for food selection in morning.

I'm rating this location and not Starbucks coffee in general. (I think by now you know if you like Starbucks so there's no reason to say what I think about it...) This is a really nice location. It is open and spacious with plenty of seating. There's a couch and 4 really comfortable arm chairs. There are also a few tables if you want to sit outside, through it would be loud as it's right on college drive. Parking is a little sparse, though.

This Starbucks is always crowded - mostly because it's on one of the busiest streets and right off the interstate. However, they have some of the best Starbucks staff I've ever come across and they all remember me even though I leave for years at a time and come back for a few weeks. Sometimes it can get a bit slow but give them a break. They do a great job.

Good for a quick stop before work, and they've never messed up my order at the counter or in the drive-through. The ambiance inside this Starbucks is nice, too. I've spent a couple hours inside on multiple occasions.

"Wake me up coffee, wake me up"! Oh the sounds of a busy coffee shop, the herds of people cramming the cafe for their daily caffeine high! It's just another day at this buzzing Starbucks on College Drive! This is a very busy location... drive-thru line is always out to the street and the inside can get packed like Walmart on a Sunday evening. No matter how many local coffee houses pop up in this city, it's interesting to see hundreds still flock here! Why oh why? Well, you can get a piping hot cup of coffee here for under $2 and those mighty Frappuccinos that is basically dessert in a cup! Sometimes, people come here and forget they are on a diet and splurge on their order "Double Chocolaty Chip Frappucino with whip drizzled with chocolate, please". For many, it is an addiction and must have one on a daily basis! You will need a separate bank account just for your daily Starbucks visits because those drinks add up! I enjoy busy coffee shops, keeps me motivated. Plus, if the place was dead, we would know why... no more coffee!! No need to worry about that here, coffee does not look like it will ever run scarce! Since, I am using this as my "office" today and my grumbling tummy needed to be fed, I went ahead and ordered an "Old-Fashioned Grilled Cheese". Oh my, I did not expect to pay almost $6 for it... $5.72 to be exact. Nothing fancy... 2 slices of whole grain toast with cheddar cheese oozing out of it. Eh, it was good... served it's purpose! I do love the flourless chocolate cookies... they are quite scrumptious! Sweets... my downfall and one by will be the reason why I will be in DEA = "Dessert Eaters Anonymous". They are irresistible as are many of their pastries ever since the partnership with La Boulange bakery (based in San Francisco) began! I usually say that I am getting the cookie for my daughter... I kind of do... I give her half. She does not need the whole cookie and frankly, neither do I! If you choose to come here with electronic devices, I do love this cafe because of their over-abundance of electrical outlets! Almost every seating area has an outlet you can plug into! Fantastic for me! * Coffee * Pastries * Bring Your Work Here * Great For Group Meetings * Great for Meet-ups * Juices * Snacks * Drive-Thru *

Fast and Versatile 4/5 times I come here, my drink is made correctly. My go-to is a Grande Caramel Macchiato with soy and warm. They make it just the way I like it, most of the time! I have only went inside once, and it is pretty nice and open. I use mostly the drive-thru. it is just so quick; don't be discouraged by the long lines! One day, while completing a mid-term, they were opened a few minutes before opening! It was the best! I, most of the time, love coming here!

4/5 recharge and friendly staff so yes, it's like any other starbucks out there. i do appreciate this particular one though, for a couple reasons: when i'm trying to get to BR at the crack of dawn for some ungodly early meeting, they can get me caffeinated quickly; and one time there was a slightly lengthy wait since the car ahead of me had some order issues, and they gave me my drink for free! they also don't make a fuss when i use the coupons i get in my email (other locations act like they've never seen their own coupons before...)

Like most Starbucks you know what you can expect when you go in. What set this one apart for me was the wonderful service. When I ordered by soy chai no water - the lady at the counter knew exactly what I wanted and commented on how she thought it was better with the no water and would have suggested it had I not said it. Awesome - you won my heart right there. She was also really patient with my mom's complicated drink order (Love you mom) which is always a plus too. Service was great and everything was nice and speedy. And my Chai tasted PERFECT!

I am one of those people who sometimes just has to get her fancy coffee fix. Now Starbucks combines two of my favorite things: caffeine + technology (fancy Starbucks app)! PLUS, this one is on my way to work! Triple threat! I have gone through the drive-thru and have gone inside, and the staff has been friendly and quick. Sometimes, they aren't so great about keeping the tables wiped down, but with the amount of traffic this place gets and the fact that I am usually a "grab-and-go girl," I'm not too bothered by that. Also, I can't remember the last time they got my order wrong, if ever. Way to go, team! As with any place offering caffeine to bleary-eyed commuters, there is often a line, so tack a few extra minutes onto your commute time if you're going during the morning rush. The wait, however, is definitely not unreasonable. See ya there, Baton Rouge caffeine fans!

This is one of the bussiest Starbucks that I have ever been to! We stopped on the way to New Orleans to use the restroom and get a recharge on coffee. When you walk in there is not any empty seats and everyone is using the free wifi. Must be because it's near the college! The guy working the counter was nice and when he found out we were headed to New Orleans he starting giving us a bunch of tips. Naturally he was about 22 years old so, his tastes were different but, I appreciated the friendliness and outgoing personality that wanted to make sure we had a good time on our vacation. It took a little while to get our drinks even though there wasn't anyone in line but, they were really good! I ordered my usual, the Java Chip Frapaccino! This is a nice stopping point to stretch too if you are driving! There is plenty of restaurants and such in this place and if you need wifi apparently this is the place to be!

Long lines for the drive thru and a tiny cramped parking lot but they're efficient and the line moves pretty quickly. Never been disappointed with my coffee at this location.
